Who’s eligible for the trip?

Students excited to expand their worldview are welcome! We’re looking for passionate travelers who want to explore, connect, and grow. Must be 18 or older by trip departure and currently enrolled in a college or university. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

How are participants selected?

Selection is merit-based, determined by the strength of your application- so give it your all! Share what excites you, your dreams, and why this journey is important to you.

How do I prepare for the application?

We want to know your “why” for travel, your aspirations, and your unique perspectives! The application will have questions related to your motivations for traveling with us- take time before submitting your application to reflect on why YOU want to become a World Walker.

What is the trip fee?

Trip fees vary by trip.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes! To reserve your spot, an initial deposit of $500 is due December 1st.

What does the trip fee cover?

Included in your fee:

• In-country travel to sponsored activities

• Travel between cities

• Lodging and accommodations

• Daily breakfast

• Curated Professional Network Building In-Country

• Flight

• Passport fees

• Personal spending funds

When should I get my passport?

ASAP! Check your school for any passport assistance programs, or head to [your nearest passport center]. If you have questions, a World Walker staff member would be happy to assist you.
